Ok, so the title is a lie: I only made one painting, not three, so you’ll have to forgive me but I did have fun practicing some more with gouache!
One thing I’ll have to keep in mind is to not have my first layer be so thick, so I’ll have to be more patient for my future works. What I enjoy about these gouache paints is that I can just continue to paint over and over and over my flaws until I like the result, but if I were to spend more time in the starting stages making sure I have a solid idea of what I’m going for I wouldn’t have to spend so much time fixing my mistakes!
My second pass of painting! Much thicker than the first and again I think it would be beneficial to go in smaller layers so this little guy was a great lesson in how I should approach my paintings in the future!
