One of the tricks I learned from working with stained glass over the summer is incorporating wire to add detail.
To practice this, I cut up a beautiful cobalt blue slice of glass just to focus on lines.
One of my cuts caused a chip, so I decided to fill it with scrap pieces of one of my favorite reds and repeat that around the edge and in the center.
Once I had the piece soldered together, I began to cut, bend, and place wire pieces before attaching them to the solder lines.
This was a relaxing project to do and I am pretty happy with how it turned out, I just need to figure out how I want to finish the edge and hang it.
