Hello loyal readers!
Welcome back! As summer comes to an end and school starts back up, my DMs have been flooded with messages from the Class of 2027 about senior pictures. I can’t believe it’s already time to start planning senior sessions, but I’m so excited and blessed to have the opportunity to capture another year of seniors!
The first DM I received was from Abby, a Pittston senior who I had actually met before through a mutual friend! What made Abby’s session especially exciting for me was that she chose a location I had never photographed at before, Francis Slocum State Park. I had no idea what to expect, but when the day of her session finally came, I was so excited to explore a new spot and see what we could create together!
Francis Slocum had so many different spots all within the same area, which gave us a lot to work with! She we started in a nearby field, where I was able to capture some gorgeous photos using my 85mm lens. The lighting was absolutely stunning, and it made the photos feel so warm and dreamy. From there, we made our way over to the turtle bridge, where Abby did a quick outfit change and we captured another set of photos with a completely different feel.
I’m so glad Abby convinced me to try out Francis Slocum because I honestly didn’t know what I was missing! Between the fields, the lighting, and the different spots we found throughout the park, her session turned out even better than I imagined. It was such a fun way to start off senior season, and I’m so excited for everything that’s still to come!
