Hello loyal readers!
Welcome back! With school back in full swing, my calendar has been filled with senior sessions. As you know, I’m beyond thankful to have another year to photograph so many different seniors from various schools! This week, I had the opportunity to photograph a gorgeous North Pocono senior, Jaden! Jaden came to me super early in the year with a vision, and we got to bring it to life through her session! ✨
We started our session at Hillside Park in Clarks Summit, which tends to be a very popular location for many seniors! We started by the lake, which really made her eyes pop, and then made our way down the trail to a whimsical wooden bridge. The bridge was definitely one of my favorite parts of the shoot because the lighting was hitting the wood and Jaden so perfectly! One thing I always love about these kinds of sessions is when my client brings a friend or family member to help behind the scenes. Jaden brought her younger sister, Lily, who helped make sure we got those genuine, real smiles throughout the session!
We finished our session at the field right across from the park, just in time for sunset! From the lighting to her gorgeous yellow dress, everything came together so beautifully, and we were able to capture exactly what she was looking for. I had such a blast with this session, and we all got the chance to watch the sun go down together as we wrapped up the night. Looking back at some of the sessions I did last year compared to this year, I can already see so much improvement in my work. I can’t wait to see how much more progress I’ll make throughout this year of senior sessions!
