Hey, everyone! I have a small update for you this week. If you haven’t seen my previous post, I finished my candy packaging and posted about my ideas and final design files. Last week, I printed out and assembled my designs and took some product photos of them in the Photography studio. I thought I would share those photos with you, as well as some other project updates from my other classes.
In my last posting, I talked about my idea for a chocolate bar company/packaging that promotes our local community of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Each candy bar features an iconic location in Scranton and includes some information and a fun fact about the locale. I wanted to put the real product in each package so that they could feel finished and professional. After I printed them out, I went to the grocery store to buy some chocolate bars to complete my package design. Here is how the project came out and the photos I took in the studio.
A few weeks ago, in my Portfolio Development class, I designed some personal business cards and ordered them through a printing company so they would look very professional. This past weekend, my order arrived, and they looked so cool that I wanted to share them here for you guys!
Since midterms are approaching, there are a lot of things that are due and need to be completed. I am planning my pieces for the Senior Exhibition, as well as my PDF portfolio for after graduation. As this stressful time begins, I wish all of you luck on your exams and progress checks, if you have any, and know that you can do it!
Good luck to you all, and thank you for reading!
