Over the past few months, one of my main goals was to get my name out in the world in some way. I created social media profiles so I could post my art publicly, and I’ve worked on many different projects for others, including making a band logo. These steps, although small, have definitely helped bring me new and exiting opportunities.
Last week, I was asked to create an advertisement for a convention in Scranton that would be shown at the local drive-in theatre. This was really exciting for me, because it gave me the chance to have my work seen in a much more public way than before. It was also really good experience to have a client that wasn’t also a friend or family member.
New opportunities like these make me really excited for my future in Graphic Design, and only make me more hopeful for what has yet to come!
