Lights, Camera, Action

As a member of the Marywood Film Club, our film shoots regularly start with early call times and a group chat that’s already buzzing before 9 AM. This past Saturday, we had one of our biggest shoot days for the upcoming film “The Backstabber”. Everyone arrived ready to take on the chaos, caffeine, and creativity.

Once we’re on set everything clicks into place. Directors huddle with actors to perfect blocking, cinematographers adjust lighting to capture the perfect shot, and the sound team reminds everyone to stay quiet on set.

What makes shoot days special isn’t just the footage we capture it’s the shared experience of building something from scratch and creativity. Weather were filming in a quiet corner Campus, or simply a friends apartment, every shoot day feels like a behind the scenes, the lambs into building a better relationship with everyone on set, and something bigger than ourselves.

Thanks for the read!
