Sharing What I Learn

Hello, it is hard to believe that I am already more than half way through my fourth semester at Marywood University. That said, I am currently on spring break and I took this opportunity to reflect back on the first half of the semester. Thus far, my favorite class this semester is Digital Illustration which is a required course as an Illustration major in the Marywood Art Department.

Digital Landscapes:

Probably one of the favorite techniques I added to my creative arsenal in Digital illustration class is how to digitally illustrate a landscape.

My professor gave us an in-depth demonstration in creating a landscape. Of course there is always more than one way to skin a cat; however, the method my professor showcased goes as followed:

Gifting My Knowledge:

After the class, I was inspired to create a digital illustration for my wonderful Mother. My family just celebrated her birthday!

WRAP UP:

Overall, the first half of my spring semester was an insightful learning experience, and I anticipate the same energy in the second half of the semester. Also… my mom absolutely loved her present!
