I finished my Disney College Program in Florida recently and I couldn’t help but wonder, how did Animal Kingdom nail the setting of Pandora? I mean they captured so well the experience of being a Na’vi traveling through the jungles of Pandora.
In 2017, Imagineers brought to life this fantastic world with floating mountains and waterfalls in a bioluminescent forest. I can’t help but admire the setting and it brings so much inspiration to people who love design and the art of Avatar. The movie always brings out color and so much awareness of how we need to take care of our ecosystem. Alongside Pandora, Animal Kingdom offers such beautiful sights and amazing art as well. Alongside the carvings of the Tree of Life and the murals inspired by Africa. The animals at the safari also offer tremendous inspiration to artists who love to draw animals or who are trying to learn as well (just like me).
Overall Animal Kingdom is a little underrated by some but there is a lot of great stuff that you can do and get inspired by the lands of Pandora, the animals at the safari or the scary Yeti in Mount Everest, but that’s another try we story for another day.
