Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show

So I am guessing everyone has seen the halftime show this past weekend, right? Well, if you did, I hope you liked it, and if you did not, that’s ok, not everyone is into football or the halftime show in general or even Bad Bunny’s music, haha! But I did want to talk about how the halftime show has such a cultural impact, and especially how much color there was in it.

I loved how he basically described Latino culture in every aspect. He brought out street vendors, nail technicians, barbershops, and many more, which I thought was very interesting considering these professions are common to Puerto Ricans, and I thought it was very relatable because I have gotten my nails and hair done by Puerto Ricans before (they are really great at it, I must say so myself) I also liked at the wedding part considering fun fact the couple did actually get married in the Superbowl!

In addition to the wedding scene, the kid who slept on the chairs is such a generational experience that every Latino kid has ever been through. There were many guest surprises, and there was a lot of color considering the greens of the plants and how it resembles a lot of the island of Puerto Rico. Also, my mom freaked out when she saw Ricky Martin on screen, and probably so did other Latina mom’s on their TV’s lol. I am so sorry if I am rambling, but I really loved this show, as you can tell, considering it is the first time we have seen someone do a full Spanish Super Bowl show, and it was awesome.

“The only thing more powerful than hate is Love”

At the end of the show, I loved how Bad Bunny said the names of all the Latin American countries, including the U.S and Canada, and the message that was put out on the screen, “The only thing more powerful than hate is Love” Overall I thought the show was amazing and if you love vibrant colors and festive music I think you might’ve liked it too. Anyways I wonder who they will bring next year? I hope it’s Karol G! I will see you all next time, and stay tuned for more!
