A little less than a year ago, my brother had given me this little narwhal! I named him “cloud” because he reminds me of the sky and he’s squishy like how I’d imagined a cloud would be when I was a kid. (Side note: when I was a child I was DEVASTATED when I found out if you fell on a cloud you would just pass straight through and you couldn’t just sit and relax on one but I still like to have a little imagination and think of clouds being soft and fluffy)

I decided to draw him! I felt like he would make a very cute sticker so that was my idea going into this!

I gave him a flat base and as a side note I have been trying to take advantage of the layers you can use while drawing digitally, I’m so used to working traditionally that I would usually only stick to two layers, merging them and then only working from one layer and regretting that because I couldn’t go back and change something without needing to fully paint over parts of my work. So I’m trying to break out of that habit to try something new!

He gets his sparkle back! I wanted to use a more flat cartoonish style but now I’d also like to test out a more painterly one just to see how it would look!
