I know, I know, Artfight is all I’ve been writing about for the past several weeks but it’s finally over!
As mentioned in the last uploads, Artfight is a digital art trading game where people draw others’ original characters in order to earn points for their team. This year, I represented Team Crystals!
Here’s my recap for the month, I tried out so many new styles and techniques and I made so many pieces I’m proud of!

My first attack for the year! I was a little rusty, but i still think it came out good.

Second attack! I tried a bit of a looser style, and I think it worked.

This batch was all for my friends, I absolutely loved having a reason to draw their characters!

For this attack, I tried to push the lighting since the character itself was rather simple.

For this one, I tried to lean into the snowy and pastel aspects of the character.

For this one, I tried a new lineart style. I think it would look better if I focused more on line weight.

Finally, the last attack I finished for the year! I’m really happy with how this one came out. I experimented with gradient styles in order to achieve the overall blue look.
That’s it! I hope you all enjoyed my rambling about Artfight and I swear I’m done with it. The results on the winning team aren’t out yet but they should be within the next few days! I had a lot of fun and I hope everyone who participated did too!
