There’s nothing like seeing the Marywood community come together for a good cause, and that’s exactly what the thrid annual Pacers Dancing with the Stars was all about. From the start, the energy in the room was filled with excitement from students, staff, alumni, and performers all showing support for Saint Joseph’s Center.

Each performance amazed me with how the couples creativity shined on stage the hard work behind it. Each of the four couples brought something different to the stage, making the competition fierce and fun, with a bonus performance from Marywood Dance Team. The crowd was on the edge of their seat all night to see who would take home the mirrorball trophy.

The night ended in a tie between SGA President Roham and Alaina, and Director of Student Disability Services Lakeisha and Jade, which was well deserved on both sides.

More importantly, the event raised nearly $10,000 for the Saint Joseph’s Center, proving that when Marywood comes together, it can make a real impact.
