Hello all! It has been quite the Summer for me. Between working and hanging out with friends, I haven’t sat down and done some big art pieces. But as I said before, I’m still doing the one medium per art piece. This time it’s Posca markers.
For this blog, I did some doodles again but I only used Posca markers. This definitely was challenging because they don’t blend the best and there’s only so many colors in a pack.
I decided on fruits for my art piece. Simple, Summery, and vibrant which for the style of the Posca markers.
Each of these drawings were free hand, no reference, and no sketch or plan. I just took the Posca markers and just drew. I was a little anxious because I tend to be a perfectionist with art, but this was a nice way to just let whatever happen. In the end it was honestly really nice to just let the markers do their thing.
Now as for my next piece, as I have another blog post before we start school, I need to figure out what I’m going to do for that. I have some ideas, but you’ll just have to come back to find out.
