Welcome back to Marywood, everyone! I am so glad to be back on campus!
With the start of the spring semester, I can’t wait to continue writing about all of the oncoming art events featured here at Marywood over the next few months!
As everyone settles back into school’s routine, make sure you practice self-care and take care of your mental health! Classes and work can become overwhelming, so try not to get overwhelmed.
A good way to unwind is to sit with a hot cup of tea and sketch or create artwork of any kind.

My personal favorite is a cup of mint tea with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and I tend to sketch in pen or marker. I do this because it prevents me from becoming overly focused on the mistakes of my sketch.
Another good stress reliever is listening to music! It always helps to put on a pair of headphones and zone out to the lyrics and the beat of a good song! Music can help take you to another world, where the stress and anxiety from school are non-existent.
Regardless of how you unwind over the next few months, just do what makes you happy and comfortable! what works for one person, may not work for you, and that’s okay! Whether it be drawing, music, cooking, sports, or anything else, they’re all valid forms of keeping yourself healthy!
I’m so glad to be back, and I cant wait to see everyone!
