Hi everyone! Hope everybody is enjoying their winter break and having a nice time off from school. Over break I have finally had time to indulge in my favorite hobby and favorite medium to work with, which is watercoloring. I love to make just small, little watercolor paintings that I can hang around my room or desk, or use them as bookmarks! The fluidity and freedom that watercoloring allows I really enjoy because it doesn’t have to be perfect to create something beautiful, and I love blending colors together.
Here I made a few bookmarks because I love reading (when I have the time to!) and I just think that they are so fun and they are really good gifts as well! My favorite thing to paint with watercolor is definitely landscapes, and I also love using black pen to draw on top of watercolor as well.
Along with that, in honor of Christmas, I created some Christian artworks that represent what this time means to me, and a card for my grandparents! I enjoyed sharing these with my family and friends and they were really fun and simple to make!
Overall I have been using this break to relax and spend time with family and friends, and I hope to do some more crafts while I have the time before classes start again. Hope everyone is having a great break, and doing some hobbies they enjoy like I am!
