Hi! I have a new project to share today, and I’m quite excited 🙂
First off, though, I finished my unicorn relief once and for all. It took a bit to get the paint job to a point where I liked it, but I’m happy with it now. I think there are definitely some things I would have done differently, but I like it better than my first unicorn relief, which should eventually be cast in bronze.

Over the past two weeks, sculpture-wise, I’ve been working on a sitting cat sculpture in clay. The sculpture will likely be finished the same way as the unicorn relief. Once I’m done sculpting, I’ll make a mould, and then I can cast many kitties and paint them. The end goal for this is to be able to paint individual cats differently as commissions. I’ll add holes to add whiskers of the cat, if someone were to want that. I’m pretty excited!

From here, I plan on adding more detail to the cat over the next few days, as well as eyes. Then I can get to the mould-making. In the meantime, I can hopefully finish my first tape mural with the pigeons. I can then move on to another mural. It’s a big undertaking for sure, but I’ll attempt to balance this with my schoolwork.
A short blog today, but with lots of fun upcoming projects, so stay tuned!
More to come!
