You can turn in just about any direction you want to when it comes to your finished ceramic pieces. Focus can be put on the creation process early on with great attention to detail or can alternatively the focus can be on the glazing and coloring techniques. You can work to find your own part of the process that you enjoy the most. My favorite part of the process is throwing new vessels, and I therefore prefer a more organic, elegant style of ceramics.
