Senior Showcase 2025

It’s hard to believe that I finished my first year here at Marywood. Throughout the entire year, I’ve learned so much, had so many new experiences, and met so many amazing people who I’m glad to call my friends!

Speaking of which, one of my friends, Jessica Sunar, as well as several other graduating students, were featured in the Senior Showcase. All of the artworks shown were absolutely wonderful to look at, both due to their high level of artistic talent with both their subject matter and given medium.

Everything featured was amazing, but here are some of my personal favorites:

I absolutely love this ceramic piece. It’s take on the two headed calf is adorable and so well made, by artist Victoria Delgado.

I honestly just love this entire display. It shows such a wide variety of mediums, including the previously mentioned ceramic, but also graphite, oil, and charcoal.

Another display where I love all of the artworks featured, this one by illustration senior, Brandon Bartley. The digital characters truly come to life, and their vibrant but dark colors are so much fun! (I also made sure to grab one of their pins).

This entire box smelled absolutely amazing, not to mention how cute and well made all of the products are, by graphic design senior, Sabrina Resuta.

I remember seeing this piece during the fall semester, and even then, I was in love with it. The dark fantasy vibe, as well as the watercolor and ink texture, creates an absolutely stunning piece, by illustration major, Molly Driscoll.

And finally, we have Jess Sunar’s works. I may be biased, but her pieces are stunning. Her grasp on composition and color is truly something else. She’s such a talented artist, and it shows in her artworks.

There are so many more artworks that I didn’t get to include, but they were all so wonderful. I wish all the best for the graduating seniors!

As a freshman, seeing the creations of the seniors truly inspired me as to what I may be able to create in my future here at Marywood.
