It’s the first week back from break! It’s been a bit of a hectic week but extremely exciting nonetheless! One of my classes this semester is 3D design and our first exercise was forming some shapes. I don’t work in the 3D space very often so I’m still learning as I go but it’s a very fun process!
These look quite rough but I definitely can’t wait to make more models! These were made from templates and for an upcoming project we carefully measure out the flat shapes, carefully (doing things carefully is one of the most important things with these projects) cut them out and glue them together.
Despite the fact that working with models isn’t my strong suit it’s definitely something I enjoy working with, and that’s always a good combination because the more fun you have with your work the more you end up creating, and the more you create the more you learn from previous mistakes. As a side note, I think it’s important to always keep your first attempt because you can see your growth and I think that it’s an incredible motivator!
I can’t wait to update you all with said upcoming project! We will be combining our shapes into 3 separate models.
I hope everyone has a wonderful semester!
