Looking for something to do this upcoming weekend? Stop by Allentown, PA to attend the 50th anniversary of Art in the Park! https://www.art-in-the-park.org/
Art in the Park is an annual gathering of artists from the local area where people can exhibit and sell their works. Artists can apply and those who are accepted can set up tables and stands to show off their work. Pretty much any medium of work is accepted. Paintings, glass work, ceramics, jewelry, etc. are exhibited here. It’s a great opportunity for local artists and a great time for attendees.
Visitors have free entry and are permitted to bring pets and listen to live music. Drinks and food are also sold to help keep everyone lively. Taking place in the heart of Allentown, there’s so much to explore nearby!
One of my favorite areas is an Arts walk that’s lined with decorations and lights. So many of the walls have murals and paintings covering them. They are so extravagant and beautiful! Along the way are restaurants and plenty of entertainment! It’s such a magical place for tourists and visitors. (Just make sure to clear out by nighttime.)
If you’re interested, this event is taking place on Saturday, September 13th, from 10 AM to 5 PM at West Park at 16th and W Turner streets, Allentown, PA.
