Hello everyone, I want to let you know about the awesome collection of Chinese pottery by Ana Maria Carmona Cusick that is on display on the second floor of the Learning Commons. It’s a wonderful display of Carmona’s skill. I didn’t know the pottery was created by Carmona, and if students are interested, there is also a gallery exhibit of her artwork on display in the Suraci Gallery!
Are they still on display? I knew Carmona and would love to see her artwork again.
Hi Sharon, Wow, you knew Caromona? Wonderful! Not sure if the works are still on display in that same location in the Learning Commons, but we can look into it and follow up here with an answer. ~Editor-In-Chief, WhereCreativityWorks.com
UPDATE: According to our Gallery Director, all of her work is in storage now as part of our permanent collection in the Suraci Gallery http://www.marywood.edu/galleries/galleries/suraci/ For further information, please contact the gallery.
UPDATE NO 2: Turns out the ceramics are still on display in Marywood’s Learning Commons. This building is open to the public and we invite you to come and see them.
