Assistant Art Director

Super exciting career news for me these past few weeks! I recently went from being the intern at Pink Arrow Arts Gallery located in Montrose, PA, to being their new Assistant Art Director! This comes with a lot more responsibilities and obligations, but I am super excited to begin this chapter of my professional life.

The first exhibit I am currently curating by myself will be for the Celbar Collection I mentioned in earlier blog posts. I just recently went up to Pink Arrow Arts this past weekend to clear out the gallery of anything remaining from our Christmas show, since we’re not open January-February, and began selecting about 15 pieces to make up the show, which will take place March 21st, 2026.

I have the exhibition about 60% done at the moment, there are still a few things needing to be cleared out in the gallery, and a few more paintings I need to find spaces for. But so far everything’s going well considering this is my first time doing this solo!

In other career news, I was also just hired by an artist in Philly as her Studio Assistant! This job will start over spring break and continue over the summer! I’ll be doing similar tasks like the ones I was doing cataloging the Celbar estate. I’ll be inventorying, photographing, and sorting artworks.

I hope everyone’s having a great semester so far and not too stressed about Midterms! I’ll be writing more about the Celbar show as I hang it and as we have the opening reception!
