Back To Ceramics

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. As I’m writing this, the fall semester starts tomorrow! I’m so excited to see everyone and get back to the ceramics studio!! That being said, it’s been a busy couple of weeks moving back to Pennsylvania and getting all my ducks in a row. I haven’t gotten to much art making, but like my last post, I’ve still been planning and prepping.

One thing I’ve been slowly working on is editing the footage from my ceramics endeavors last semester. I would really love to post all of that so I can film some more new content and not have to worry about the old stuff. However, I’ve been waiting to get back to the studio so I can take pictures of finished products and such. I took a lot of my ceramics home over the summer break with intentions of selling them, but then I thought I might want to keep some of it for now, so I never did. I got some nice pictures of the pieces at home, but I also need to take some pictures with the photo background we have in the ceramics studio instead of the nature scene I have at home.

Speaking of the ceramics studio, I’m so excited to get back and rearrange my personal studio. I was so lucky to share a studio with one of my friends last semester, but we both make so much that we had to get our own studios this semester. I’ll miss the company, but I’ll probably get a lot more work done hahaha! My schedule permits full work days a couple of times a week, only ceramics, nothing else, so I have a lot of planning to do to use the time wisely. Luckily, I just got new paper for my ceramics journal, so I have lots and lots of room to get scheduling.

Well, that’s all I have for this week. I can’t wait to get back to work, so I have more to share with you all. Thank you for reading, and stay creative 🙂
