Let There Be Light

At Marywood, your first Photography class is Basic Photography (film).  Currently there are two Professors who teach Basic, Lori Brunetti and Niko Kallianiotis, both GREAT teachers! Taking this class was an amazing time for me, as my eyes were opened to how much there is about photography that I didn’t know. We have so many darkrooms here on campus that I sometimes get lost looking for the light switch. Some of my fellow students like to play “Let’s see if we can scare Ty when he comes in the darkroom looking for the light switch.” It is kind of funny, seeing as how I am always looking for the light in my photographs! We study all kinds of photography at Marywood including fine art, photojournalism, and advertising photography. Here are a few more of my favorite Landscape photographs. What do you think?
