Calls for Entries

BLEACHER GALLERY by DYLAN PUGH: The past few weeks, I have been taking the time to develop my passion project, Bleacher Gallery. As someone passionate about sports merchandise, I aim to curate an exhibition and eventually publish a book showcasing my findings. This project came to me after I felt frustrated with Ticketmaster and missed physical sports tickets. I also felt frustrated by the current art gallery scene and wanted to show a representation of applied arts.

For the Bleacher Gallery Call for Entry, I am looking for scanned tickets, booklets, or flyers from sporting events. The due date for submissions is July 12, 2025, with the possibility of extension. If this sounds interesting to you, head to the website to submit. If not, don’t fear. I made a list of a few magazines looking for art you can submit to.

CYCLES by JUNIPER ZINE: Juniper Zine is looking for poetry, art, and music about growing up for their issue Cycles. They also have a Letters Left Unsent project looking for unfinished drafts and notebook snippets. The due date is July 14, 2025.

FILTH by FRENETIC: Frenetic is a leftist magazine based in the UK. They are looking for poetry and art that explores the theme of dirt and cleanliness. They are also looking for cover art for the issue. The deadline is August 1, 2025.

POSTCARDS FROM VIENNA by APRICUS LITERARY: Apricus Literary is a youth-led digital literary magazine designed to uplift and celebrate female youth voices across the globe. Their upcoming issue, Postcards From Vienna, is also looking for poetry and art about unsent messages and distant beauty. The due date is July 4, 2025.

MIRROR, MIRROR by DOLCE ZINE: Dolce Zine is looking for a variety of media for their first issue. Submissions are due July 25, 2025.

I recommend reviewing each magazine and considering submitting work. Publishing your work is a great way to make connections in the art world, plus it looks great on your resume. It’s also helpful to keep these small publications going to make art accessible for all.
