Hello everyone! I hope everyone is a great start to their summer! Last weekend, I went camping at Kymer’s Campground in Branchville, NJ with my family. It was very nice to take a step away from technology and catch up with family while enjoying nature. Being a photographer, I never go anywhere without my camera so, I explored around the campground and I stumbled upon interesting objects and sights.

For this first image, I followed a path that led me to a big field, with this abandoned structure that may have once been a baseball field. It was interesting to see the trees and roots grow through it since it’s been abandoned. I thought it was interesting to capture this structure with the other trees and the field creating this creepy feeling when looking at the image.

The second image is quite interesting. When walking through the woods, my mother pointed out this old rusted, fallen apart car. It was interesting to see the front bumper blended into the sticks and trees. As we paned through we saw more of the car parts.

These two images were also interesting. There was a cable line with a bunch of fishing lines and bobber’s hanging from it. I used my long lens to capture them.

I call this last image “The reflection chair” because I feel like when looking at this image, you get the sense of needing to sit down and reflect while looking out into the pond.
