CMKY Club

Have you heard about Marywood’s Art Club called CMYK? It’s now open to all art majors and minors, not just graphic design and illustration majors.

They plan to completely renovate the club for this school year. Club President Jessica Sunar mentions that they “are rebranding as more than only graphic majors. It’s recommended for graphic design and illustration majors as well as other art and even non-art majors. We mostly wanna create a friendly environment where we do art for fun and sometimes even t-shirt design competitions.”

With the rebrand, they even made new graphics for the club, including a brand new mascot named Myck. Their name is an anagram of CMYK; very fitting! The man wolf, yak, cheetah, and kangaroo mascot includes not only the letters of CMYK, but it also includes the printing colors as well. Additionally, Myck also has a chibi version too!

Overall, I’d highly recommend checking out the CMYK club, regardless of whether you’re an art major or not! The goal of the club is to create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone, so feel free to stop by!
