Doing Something Different

I’ve always enjoyed photography. I’m not very good at it. I don’t know any rules, or anything that I should be doing in fact, but I enjoy going out and snapping pics of things that capture my interest. I especially love nature shots and landscapes.

To correct myself, I did take a photography class in high school, however that was a long time ago, and I don’t remember a lot of stuff. Now I just enjoy casually going around and taking pics of things I may like for references to use in my art, or if I just really like how green some trees may look on a specific day. My phone is my usual go to, though I have a really nice camera I like to take around some times to take some better quality photos.

Though it’s definitely a much more casual affair, I still try to take pleasing photos. I’m not sure if it’s just my regular art teachings, but I try to go for an interesting composition. On top of that, I always try to get different angles if it’s something I find especially beautiful. Like I have said in my previous posts, I love Spring. That’s why things time of the year is probably the time I take the most photos of all. I feel like a photo squirrel, taking a lot of pics to hoard away for the winter.

That’s all for this week, but here’s some of my photos, hopefully they inspire some of you guys to go out and take a closer look at things yourself!
