Donut Letter Press

For this weeks blog I decided to revisit a project I had done for my internship! For this project I had to compose a letter press design to run through the press for a first Friday event. It was national donut day, so I in fact did it on donuts!

This was interactive and was held for first Friday at The Workshop in Scranton. People browsing through this first Friday event were allowed to print there own designs! I first chose my type face and sizes, along with how large or small the paper would be to print on. I chose a squared heavy duty coaster material, and flipped the orientation to be in the shape of a diamond.

Within the design I put a small cup of coffee and a donut to fit the theme! After the letter press was run through, I took pink and blue ink to stamp onto the final versions! This design was very fun and allowed a lot of play!
