With finals coming up it’s always harder to find time to draw, instead of being able to stay up until midnight drawing I’m staying up until midnight writing papers and studying. Not to mention work picking up with the Holiday’s approaching.

But I always try to find time anyways, whether it’s only for a few minutes here and there every other day. And every December to around February/March I get the urge to draw with pens. It’s only during these few months too, I never want to draw with a pen outside of that time frame. 

I find that it also helps me slow down and think about where I want to place each stroke. Unlike with pencils, I can’t just erase if I “mess up” a section. And that honestly scares me and I’m more careful with pens, less confident. But that often helps me improve and grow even more confident with pencil drawing when I do finally go back to them.
