In November, The Shutterbugs Photography Club and Fashion Club collaborated by doing a spooky photoshoot. This was not my first time taking fashion photoshoots and I was very excited for this photoshoot. We used the studio in Insalaco Studio of Arts as we have available resources for professional lighting.

This was probably one of my favorite photoshoots I’ve done in the studio. I feel that my knowledge on lighting has progressed and I feel much more comfortable using the equipment. Even though this is my second year being a photography major, I feel that I have become much more confident in my work in a short period of time.

If I have the opportunity to do another fashion photoshoot, I would absolutely do it again. My goal when taking photos like these is to make people feel confident in themselves. If they have a photo idea I encourage them and we try it out together! I love experimenting with photo ideas so the more the merrier. I want the person I photograph to feel comfortable with the camera. If someone asks to retake a photo I have no issue taking it again as I want them to feel comfortable.
