In one of my classes, I had to draw a silly racing car that matches the theme of the driver, and I already knew what I had to do. I really wanted to draw a fish car for some reason, and the most obvious choice for a fishy car is obviously a kitty driver!

I began by doing some simple sketches in my sketchbook to get a idea of how I wanted the car to look. I decided to keep the most basic fish shape and features in my design, such as a fins and little lips because I wanted it to literally embody a fish on wheels.
I then took my design into Illustrator, and started on the basic lines for the illustration using my favorite brushes that came with my Wacom tablet. I really like these brushes and have not used any other ones for my drawings since I got them because I love the way they make the linework look. I then began adding my kitty driver and knew I wanted to give him a funny little face, so I drew him looking like he is having a great time in his fish car with a excited expression.
Then, it was onto the colors which is probably my favorite part as I love trying out different color combos until one sticks. I settled on green for the fish car and orange for the kitty for my colors, as green and orange are of course a classic combo and look amazing together.
Once I finished the illustration, I felt like it was missing something so I took it into photoshop and added a motion-blur background to really sell that feeling that the kitty is going at a speed incomprehensible to the human mind, along with a blur added onto the illustration itself. Overall, I really like how this little drawing came out and had a lot of fun making it!!
