Hello loyal readers!
Welcome back! Last week, I had the opportunity to attend L’Casa’s salsa dance lesson, and not only did I capture a beautiful event, I captured a part of culture that is significant to so many people. In honor of Hispanic heritage month, L’Casa offers dance lessons to students every Thursday to give a little glimpse into Hispanic culture during Hispanic heritage month.

The energy in the studio was high, and seeing how everyone connected through the dance was truly an experience you just had to be there for. This event was especially meaningful to me because I am Peruvian, and salsa dancing is something I grew up doing with my grandmother. It was such an amazing way to not only honor my heritage, but remember her and the moments we spent together dancing. It was also extra special because the instructor is one of my close friends, so I was happy to be there to support her while also getting to capture the event through photography.
