This week I decided to challenge my family to some art making. They’ve always expressed an interest in my Madalas I make so the other night we had an art making session where we each made mandalas. I think everyone enjoyed using a new creative outlet, and for some members it’s the first time they’ve made art in a very long time.

Each member tried a variety of techniques I had shown them and even their own creativity to come up with solutions to their problems. My sister really enjoyed making some marbling patterns, while my Nonna on the other hand enjoyed creating tiny intricate dot patterns, and my dad enjoyed letting the ink flow naturally. It was really interesting to see how each member of my family expressed their creativity and the methods in which they created.
