This post is related to my previous posts such as My First Soldering and Cut and Polish. I got a chance to cut a new stone that I will be setting in a bezel that I have to cast this week. Once the bezel and stone are put together I will be soldering it to the piece from My First Soldering. I hope to then attach that piece to a metal cuff that I will be making later on. Together this piece will be a combination of all the techniques I’ve learned so far. It is definitely taking some time to complete but patience is key! I’m just really excited about the stone setting because it’s something I enjoy doing. I hope to get better at cutting and polishing over time.
