As I previously mentioned in an earlier blog post, I am OBSESSED with Halloween. Whether it be wearing spooky attire, watching horror movies, or visiting horror attractions, I am all things Halloween. Furthermore, I am an avid collector of animatronics from Spirit Halloween. My collection is over 10 years in the making and I currently own almost 70 life-size animatronics!
Animatronics & Art:
A small hobby I began to pursue with my animatronics is to draw pencil portraits. I love pencil drawing because it allows me to focus primarily on value changes with a grayscale color palette. Also similarly to digital art, it is easy to make corrections with a handy eraser.

Animatronic: Thrashing Clown
Description: Sold at Spirit Halloween for the 2013 Halloween season as a part of the “Clown Train” In-Store-Experience.
Animatronic: Creepy Rising Doll
Description: The Creepy Rising Doll animatronic was originally sold as an online exclusive in 2014. In 2015, she was sold in store as a part of the “Swamp Tours” In-Store-Experience. In 2023, the was remastered and sold exclusively online.
Animatronic: The Black Heart
Description: The Black Heart animatronic was sold at Spirit Halloween for the 2023 Halloween season as a part of the “Mausoleum Row” In-Store-Experience.
