On Tuesday September 15, 2026, Marywood’s Approaches in Art Therapy class held its first joint collaboration with the university’s Music Therapy Department and the NEPA Philharmonic. The art directive titled, “Nature’s Greatest Hits,” was facilitated by art therapy students Chelsea Herron, Allison Carlucci, and Aleese Joseph. Participants of all skill levels combined music and art as they painted nature scenes directly onto old vinyl records. Throughout the event, music therapy students performed classic songs from artists such as the Beatles and Otis Reading. The next NEPA Philharmonic RX Arts collaborative meet up will be held on Tuesday November 10, 2026.
