No King’s Day Protest

On October 18th, I went to the No King’s Day Protest in Downtown Scranton, PA. It was a peaceful protest filled with colorful signs and even inflatable costumes.

This was not my first time photographing a protest, but it was one of the biggest ones. I was a little nervous at first, as it was so big, but once I started taking pictures, I felt more comfortable. When I take photojournalistic photos, I also enjoy taking political photos, so I was very excited to photograph this event. When I was at the protest, I was happy to see people of all ages in the crowd. I hope to photograph more protests in the future. I would love to one day photograph a protest in a bigger city like Philly or New York City.
