Preparing for the BFA Spring Exhibition

Hello everyone, in the art department a show is being put on in the galleries in the Shields Center for Visual Arts for all of Marywood’s graduating students with majors and minors in Graphic Design, Illustration, and Art Therapy. The students show what they have accomplished by displaying their work in the Mahady and Suraci Gallery’s. The show is set for April 4, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm.

For students who will be displaying work in the galleries, they are to fill out two important forms before their work will be put on display. Students must fill out the Insurance Form and the Exhibition List.

Insurance Form: The form must be filled out and given to John Meza by March 23rd. Include all possible works that might be in the show and the value of the art work. If the student needs help determining the value of their artwork, they can speak to their advisers or contact John Meza for an appointment.

Exhibition List: The form must be filled in and given to John Meza by March 23rd. This form is for all of the possible artwork that the student would like to have in the gallery. Students can have artwork sold during the gallery show, students have the option to determine the price of their work if they wish to sell. The dates for dropping off artwork for the exhibition are March 26, 27, and 30. Pick up dates for the artwork is April 27th. If students need help deciding on which works they would like to have in the show they can speak with their advisers.
