I am very excited to be writing this week to share to all of you readers what is happening this week in the sculpture studio! This Thursday sculpture students will be showing off the work that they have created over this past semester. I was able to take a sneak peak at the some of the pieces that are going to be shown and I was very impressed with the creativity and passion that these students have for sculpture. The art ranges from wood sculptures, jewelry, cement torso and glass work.

Professor Stephen Colley had the brilliant idea to host this showing not in the typical gallery but directly in the studio. This allows viewers to not only see the artwork the students have created but also see the space and all the things possible in it.

The event will be this Thursday 5/1 at 6:30 in the Sculpture studio and anyone and everyone is welcome. Below is just a sneak peak of some of the pieces that will be in the show!
