I recently decided to start practicing using gouache paints again after a year of losing my old paints and deciding to focus on watercolors, and for this painting I had decided to do a self portrait!

I wanted to heavily exaggerate my face because I felt like it would just be silly and a fun way to experiment!

I do plan to practice more in the future with my color mixing but I did have fun using colors straight from the tube because I felt like it went well with the overall exaggerated look I was going for while painting this!

Overall I absolutely plan to use gouache more in my work in the future! It was very fun to work with and experiment with!
