Its the end of the school year and you know what that means! It’s time for the beloved annual Marywood Art Department Senior Show where all of our seniors show off their hard efforts. I could spend pages describing every piece, but instead I’m just going to cover two of my favorite pieces and encourage you to check it out for yourself, details below. Seeing it in person is always better than listening to someone talk about it on the internet after-all.
The first is ‘Eggonomics’ by senior painting major McKenna Seavy, and is a beautiful rendition of a carton of eggs done over top what appears to be many receipts. Finally, a use has been found for at the receipts I’ve shoved into the bottom of my wallet!
The other is this dinosaur by senior Art Therapy major, Tatiana Amaral, for obvious reasons
The Art Department encourages you to return to this post to share about your favorite works from this year’s exhibition.
Marywood University BFA and BA art seniors in 3D, art therapy, arts administration, art history, expressive arts education, illustration, graphic design, painting, and photography will exhibit their work in Marywood University’s Mahady, Kresge, and Suraci galleries located in the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts building. Join students, family, friends, faculty, and staff for the annual celebration. The show will be on view from April 18-May 16, 2026 with the Opening Reception on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 1-4pm. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
The 2026 promotional senior show postcard art was designed by two graduating senior graphic designers, Grace DiNella and Kelsey Green. #MarywoodArt
