So, Now What?

By the time you are reading this post I’ll be graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration. At this point the past four years have been a blur. They have been some of the best years of my life, but I’m so excited for the next part of my journey! Watch out world, here I come!

I’m happy to say I just accepted a paid internship position with Mass MoCA. I’ll be moving to Massachusetts and participating in the Berkshire Hills Internship Program. My Art History Professor, Dr. Partridge, encouraged me to apply for the program in February. A few essays, interviews, emails, and phone calls, it’s real! At Mass MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) I will be working in Kidspace. Kidspace is a child-centered art gallery where contemporary artists exhibit their work and a hands-on studio space. My career goal is to work in an education department at a major art museum. I believe this position will be one step in the right direction. I know it may not be easy, but I’m willing and ready to work my butt off to reach my goal.

Through all of my posts I hope you’ve gotten to know more about Marywood, Art Administration, and me! I’ve enjoyed writing and sharing my adventures with each and every one of you. As I begin my next journey in Massachusetts I’ll never forget where I’ve came from, the people I’ve met at Marywood, and the connections I have made. So lets not call this a goodbye, but a see you later.
