Hi! This week’s student spotlight is sophomore graphic design major Maci Roos! Maci has a very modern style and makes bold designs that stand out! She incorporates both graphic design and business in a double major to maximize opportunities for herself in the future.
MEET MACI:
Name: Maci Roos, Class of 2019
Major(s): Graphic Design & Business Management
I am majoring in art because I love how many outlets it has. You can do so many things with a Graphic Design degree, which makes it a lot of fun.
The kinds of things that inspire me are many things! Mainly my family. They always are supportive in my designs and make me want to always work harder.
My favorite class so far was Introduction to Typography. I loved all of the projects we did they were so fun.
I like to spend a lot of my time crafting, watching Netflix, or adventuring.
The coolest thing I have done so far is zip lining in Tennessee. It was so fun.
When I graduate I want to begin my career in advertising and both the graphic design and business sides of it.
I’d recommend Marywood art because it is a very personal and friendly environment. You always have someone to count on and always feel welcome.
SOME OF MACIS WORK:
Thank you Maci for being this week’s spotlight and for sharing your beautiful work with us! I love seeing your designs and look forward to seeing what else you come up with!
Until next time!
