Meet Maeve!
Name: Maeve Flick
Year you’ll be graduating: Class of 2024
Major: Art Therapy
I am majoring in Art because It has been a passion of mine ever since I was little.
The kinds of things that inspire me are Abstract and Pop Art!
My favorite class so far was Art Therapy Techniques and Applications.
When I’m not in class I am usually hanging out with my friends whether it be doing school work or just chilling.
The coolest thing I’ve done so far at Marywood was probably the tye dye event. It was so much fun!
When I graduate I hope to have my Master’s degree in art therapy and become a professional art therapist.
I’d recommend the Art program at Marywood because you get to learn even more about creating art and the different mediums you can use. It’s definitely different than learning about creating art in a high school art class.
The best spot to be on campus is either inside the Learning Commons because it has such a beautiful view or in the art field in between the Learning commons and the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts because it’s always sunny and it’s a great place to get some studying in.
