Student Spotlight: Nicholas Arcarese

Nicholas is a graphic design major who finds passion in practicing his illustrations and skills every single day and works hard and goes the extra mile on every project he puts out there!

Meet Nicholas!

Name: Nicholas Arcarese

Year you’ll be graduating: Class of 2022

Major: Graphic Design

I am majoring in Art because it’s a passion I have happily dedicated myself to for almost my entire life and a desire to be revered and known after my life has always been exciting to me.

The kinds of things that inspire me are the old masters and early illustrators of the 19th and 20th centuries.

My favorite class so far was Art 110 Basic Drawing.

When I’m not in class I continue experimenting and engaging in fine arts or illustrations with ink, paint, etc.

The coolest thing I’ve done so far at Marywood was paint 2 of the murals that you can find on campus.

When I graduate I plan on finding a steady job while i freelance illustrate

I’d recommend the Art program at Marywood because of the many useful connections and friendly professors that have strengthened my skills.

The best spot to be on campus is Insalaco Center of studio arts!

Thank you Nicholas for sharing a little bit of all the different projects you work on! See y’all next week!
