Student Spotlight: Talia Daniello

For my first student spotlight I chose to do my roommate, Talia Daniello, because she gave me a whole new perspective when it comes to her major, Art Therapy!

Meet Talia!

Name: Natalia Daniello

Year: Class of 2022

Major: Art Therapy

I am majoring in Art because art has always been such a huge influence in my life and after seeing first hand how powerful Art Therapy really is for people, I knew that what I needed to do with my life.

The kinds of things that inspire me are my friends and family who have always inspired me the most through their constant support and their own art.

My favorite class so far was Intro to Arts and Healing.

When I’m not in class I can be found in my room or out by the amphitheater hammocking.

The coolest thing I’ve done so far at Marywood was help build the juvenile solitary cell on display in the Liberal Arts Center to demonstrate the cruelty of juvenile detention centers.

When I graduate, I plan on working, as well as spending as much time with my loved ones as possible.

I’d recommend the Art program at Marywood because you learn so much, not just from your professors, but also from your peers.

The best spot on campus is in between the three pine trees just outside the amphitheater, perfectly spaced for a hammock.

That’s all for my first week! Thank you to Talia for being involved in my first blog post! See y’all next week!
