Hi everyone, there is a great event coming up soon open to Marywood students. The Bayleaf Open will be on Saturday April 25, 2020. It will be held from 1 to 3 pm in the Marywood Learning Commons Archives room on the 2nd floor.
The Bayleaf Open is a Creative Art and Writing competition for local high school and current Marywood students. It is sponsored by Marywood’s Arts and Communication Arts, Foreign Languages, English, and Art departments. For the competition students will need to create artwork based on Marywood’s mission and core values. The contest will be judged and winners will receive prizes, scholarships and gift certificates.
The artwork entered in the competition will be on display in the Learning Commons and selected literary works will be read aloud during a public reception and celebration. The deadline for students who wish to enter the contest is April 3, 2020.
More information on The Bayleaf Open and how to submit your artwork and writing for the competition can be found on Marywood University’s website.
