Well! Summer has officially come to an end. As I sit and reflect on the time that I spent at home this summer I can’t help but smile even though a part of me just wants to break down and cry! But big girls don’t cry do they? Anyway! Through these posts, together we traveled to the Annaberg Plantation in St. John, to downtown and main street in St. Thomas. We celebrated Carnival and took an Art Walk through Emancipation Garden after visiting a few local galleries. We spent time with artists and you met some of my friends. I’d say we had one heck of a journey!
However, it is time for me to return to Marywood University where the journey will continue. One final semester and I’m excited! I can see it now…a semester filled with nothing but Art, History, and well that’s all I really need! 🙂
This was by far one of the best summers I’ve had. I worked, I learned, I explored, I created this passion, a true love for my home. Although I’ll miss it, I’m ready for whatever the new semester brings. Hopefully it brings a few exhibitions for me to work on! Either way I’ll keep you all posted. Stay tuned…
